Jalapeño Sardine Loaded Nachos

Crunchy baked tortilla chips, tender and spicy mackerel with real sliced jalapeño peppers, gooey cheese, pico de gallo…it’s loco taste bud love at first bite!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can King Oscar Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Hot Jalapeño Peppers, drained
  • 12 oz tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup canned corn
  • Pico de gallo or salsa
  • Garnishes: sliced jalapeño or serrano chilis, avocado, cilantro, lime

HERE’S WHAT YOU DO...

  1. Pre-heat oven to 300°F.
  2. On sheet pan tray, layer tortilla chips, then top with cheese, corn, and chunks of sardines.
  3. Bake nachos for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  4. Top with garnishes.
